David A. Tuggle, Sr.

Born and raised in Danville, David attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he earned his bachelor’s degree in 1987 and his law degree in 1990. He is currently licensed to practice law in Illinois, Indiana and Missouri.

David is currently a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association, National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR) and the Vermilion County Bar Association. In 2004, he was voted by other attorneys as being in the top 5% of attorneys practicing Social Security Disability and Personal Injury law.

David is active in his community. He and his wife, Sharon, have four children.

Nicholas M. Schiro

Nicholas Schiro graduated from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois, with a bachelor’s degree in political science. Upon completing his bachelor’s, he earned his law degree from Hamline University School of Law in 1989.

He is currently a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association, Ltd., and the Vermilion County Bar Association. Nicholas is licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois and the Federal District Courts of Illinois and Indiana.

When he isn’t representing clients from all over Illinois with their Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury cases, he performs pro bono work for low-income families in uncontested divorces. Nicholas also is a third degree member in the Knights of Columbus. He and his wife, Kelli, have three children, Jeff, Emily and Elizabeth. His hobbies include fishing, antiquing, traveling, scuba diving, reading and much more.

Todd D. Lichtenberger

Todd Lichtenberger received his Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University. He earned his law degree from Whittier College School of Law in Los Angeles in 1998.

Todd focuses his practice areas on Social Security Disability, Workers’ Compensation, and Personal Injury law.

Todd is a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association, National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR), and the Vermilion County Bar Association. He also performs pro bono work for low-income families through the Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation.

He and his wife, Jean, are active in their church and have three children.

Rowan E. Themer

Rowan E. Themer is a 2005 graduate of Eastern Illinois University. Rowan earned his law degree from Southern Illinois University in 2009, graduating summa cum laude. He was an editor for the Southern Illinois Law Journal while still in law school and his articles were selected twice for publication in the nationally circulated journal.

Rowan is a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Illinois State Bar Association and Vermilion County Bar Association and the Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association. He also provides legal services on a pro bono basis through the Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation.

Rowan concentrates his practice in the areas of Personal Injury law and Workers’ Compensation. He has successfully handled hundreds of personal injury and workers’ compensation cases and has obtained significant settlements and awards for his clients.

In 2015, Mr. Themer was named an Emerging Lawyer by Leading Lawyers in the areas of Plaintiff’s Personal Injury Law and Workers’ Compensation. This honor is earned by being voted by other attorneys to be in the top 2% of Illinois attorneys practicing in these areas of law who are under 40 years old or practicing less than 12 years.

Julie A. Themer

Julie Themer helps people in Central Illinois when they’re hurt at work or in a car accident. She focuses her practice on workers’ compensation and personal injury cases in the Decatur office of Tuggle, Schiro, Lichtenberger & Themer.

Julie believes every client deserves a zealous advocate and works closely with her clients, keeping them well informed of the progress of their cases. She has taken many cases to jury trial and arbitration and won numerous substantial settlements for her clients.

She grew up in Southern Illinois and graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2004. She then earned her law degree from SIU and was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2008.

Julie is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. She teaches group fitness classes at a local gym and enjoys getting involved in the community.

She and her husband Rowan live in Champaign with their son Oliver and two cats, Gladys and Chumlee.
